Last week we delivered our second festival with teacher CPD built in — this time, Tennis!
We were thrilled to partner with the brilliant Quarry Bank Tennis Club, who hosted a fantastic morning of activity, learning, and community sport.
The morning in numbers
– 100 young people from 10 primary schools
– 11 superb young leaders from Oldswinford Hospital School
– 10 members of staff completing the LTA Teachers Course
– 2 dedicated coaches from Quarry Bank Tennis Club
From start to finish, the energy was brilliant. The weather held out, the courts were buzzing, and every child left not only with new skills but also with information on local tennis opportunities they can get involved in.
